SDCC 2025: Hasbro Star Wars Preview

Good afternoon everyone, today is the first day of San Diego Comic Con 2025 and that means a toy of toy news will be coming at ya all day and over the course of the weekend! So, buckle up, sit tight, and we'll take you on a ride.Once again, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to Toyark for reporting on this.

Hasbro held their annual breakfast preview for their items, and they had numerous Star Wars items on display. I believe everything here has been revealed prior as digital renders, but this is likely the first time we've seen them as physical samples.

The Black Series

They had a ton of items on display for The Black Series line, including their SDCC 2025 exclusive Obi-Wan vs Anakin Mustafar Duel set.

The Vintage Collection

So, the Darth Vader's TIE Advanced is a hit but the rest are kind of misses. Why are we producing cardboard cut outs for a playset that will be sold for the same price as previous plastic playsets, it's ridiculous and just proof that Hasbro is out of touch with their Star Wars fans.

Cantina Adventure Set (this is ridiculous, and I get that some people might enjoy this but the price of this for a cardboard cutout and a few figures is not right.)
