SDCC 2025: Playmates Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Re-Ignition Product Preview

The San Diego Comic Con 2025 is in full swing, buzzing with excitement and energy as fans and industry professionals gather to celebrate their favorite franchises. Among the highlights of this year’s event, our friends at TokuNation have shared a wealth of new images and intricate details regarding the latest and highly anticipated range of Power Rangers toys.

This year, just like previous years, Hasbro has taken the opportunity to host an exclusive preview event breakfast tailored for media representatives and influencers, allowing them a first look at the fantastic products being unveiled. The spotlight this year shines brightly on the Power Rangers franchise, particularly through the innovative and engaging new offerings from the license-holder Playmates, which has a long-standing history of producing beloved toys that resonate with fans of all ages.

Among the displayed items, attendees were treated to a remarkable array of collectibles and playsets that evoke nostalgia while also appealing to a new generation of fans:

The combinable Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Pterodactyl, Triceratops, and Sabertooth Tiger Zords, which are designed to interconnect seamlessly, allowing fans to recreate the iconic moments from the series where these Zords come together to form the formidable Megazord.

Additionally, the combined Megazord comes complete with mini-figures that can be placed within the cockpit, enhancing the play experience by allowing fans to imagine themselves as part of the action.

All six Mighty Morphin Power Rangers masks, each intricately designed to reflect the unique characteristics of the Rangers, provide fans with an immersive experience, allowing them to embody their favorite characters and engage in imaginative play.

The Power Morpher, an essential accessory for any Power Rangers fan, has been updated with new features and details that make it a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

While there are no new reveals (fingers crossed though), I'm probably the most excited with this product preview than any of the other reveals. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers toy line has such a special place for me, I can't help being excited for new products for this line. I'm particularly the most excited for the new Dragon Dagger with Dragonzord Power Coin.
